More info about developing with us:

Once we receive your order, we will check your rolls in and change your order status to “Processing”. From there, your film goes to our developing team. Negative films
(C-41 process) are processed daily, B&W Films are processed twice a week, and E6 Slide and other special service films are processed twice a month. Your turnaround will vary depending on which type of film you have, with C-41 type films being the fastest. After the developing process is complete, your rolls get transferred to our scanning team if “Develop and Scan” was selected, and directly to the delivery team if “Develop Only” was selected.

For Drop off/Pick up Customers: Develop and scan order customers will get our “Your Scans are Ready” email once scanning and quality control checks are done. Negatives are ready for pickup for both Develop and Scan and Develop Only once you receive the “Order Ready for Pickup” email. Please wait for this second email so we have your film ready when you arrive! *If you elected to have us hold your negatives for pickup, you have 6 weeks from the drop off date to pick up your film.

*** Film not picked up within 6 weeks will be discarded ***

If you are unable to pick up your negatives within this time frame, shoot us an email with your order number in the subject line and we will invoice you for mailing them back!

For Mail in Customers: For Develop Only customers, as soon as your film is dry we box up your rolls and print out a shipping label to mail them back. Be on the lookout for a shipping notice sent to your email so you can track your film as it makes its way back to you! For Develop and Scan customers, we transfer your film to the scanning and delivery department, where your film is carefully scanned according to your specifications, checked for quality issues, then emailed to you via a google drive link. Once completed, we mail back your film if you elected to keep your negatives, or discard them if you didn’t need them back.
